Bio	I have been a grassroots organizer for many progressive issues since I was a teenager back in Eastern Oregon in the fifties, and am still at it in Orange County. I became a Meetup Organizer after the debacle in the 2000 election, and have a monthly "Grassroots Progressives" meetup on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. I've now set up the Draft Gore Meetup at my old Draft Clark address, so you can go to http://draftalgore.meetup.com/110/ and join if you'd like. In the last presidential election I was very active in the Draft Clark movement, and since have become an elected member of the Democratic Central Committee and am a member of Progressive Democratics of America. I am a Precinct Organizer both for the Democratic Party and in the Steve Young for Congress campaign.
Why I Want Gore In '08	Although I like several of the current candidates, and lately have been supporting Edwards more specifically, like many people, I would immediately switch to an enthusiastic Gore campaigner if he were to declare. He is a proven winner for the Party, he never supported the Iraq invasion, his experience as a legislator and Vice President trumps everyone else's, and his Global Warming movement is one of the most vital issues of our time.
