The FBI is investigating four Wall Street institutions at the heart of the financial crisis over their role in the sub-prime mortgage meltdown, it emerged today.

Reports said preliminary investigations into potential corporate fraud at the US mortgage finance giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the insurer American International Group and the investment bank Lehman Brothers had been opened.

They are among 26 companies being scrutinised by the FBI. Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and AIG were bailed out by the government in the last fortnight, while Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy.

I think Barack Obama should rethink his approach to how he is fighting John McCain. The slogan "Change" fitted his battle with Hillary Clinton great; most Democrats wanted something different than what Hillary had to offer. The old John McCain represented the same sort of change that Barack Obama is talking about.

I believe Barack Obama should add to his stump speech, the fact that he will be the type of president that will look at issues with a balanced approach. McCain has proven he will fly off the cuff with wild emotional responses to issues in order to pander to his base.

I'm addressing this issue to Mr. Al Gore, Mr. Barack Obama, and to Ms. Hillary Clinton!

We are spending Billions of Dollars on space and Billions of Dollars on scientist how to solve the climate crisis to find a solution to a green energy when we have a solution to this matter with a few millions to try a new invention that could work, according to some testing we did, converting a combustion engine to run on air by replacing a few parts and cars would run on air with a zero cost and zero pollution!

McCain's hawkish response to the situation in Georgia shows (in the words of Josh Marshall) how "dangerous and unstable" he is.

To Mr. Branson and Al Gore,

You are offering $25 Million dollar price to reduce the global warming, all I need is $5 Million dollars to achieve a new free energy powered by compressed air to run cars, boats, electric generators, and power plants with zero cost and zero pollution by a pure air!
