One of President Obama's campaign promises was a withdrawal of American troops from Iraq. Creating a plan for the withdrawal of U.S. troops was started just after his election. After the program for withdrawal was put in motion, the White House has kept it on schedule. By August 31, only 50,000 service personnel will remain in Iraq. It is projected that all American forces will have left Iraq by the end 2011.

This site is built to help people explore their opportunities and conserve money.

I have mixed feelings about the results so far, but unlike many so-called "progressives," I'm not ready to jump ship. I don't like the "surge" in Afghanistan, I don't like Obama's choice of financial advisors --or what they've done so far, and I don't like what happened to the healthcare bill. But Obama's not entirely to blame for all that.

Any thoughts from the press conference last night? I thought it was bo-ring. Not exactly what I had expected. It did contain within the prepared remarks and the Q&A, logical and rational rebuttals to nearly all arguments against reforming health care and now. But what the media cover today? "The president says cops are stupid and racist."
