Chicago is hosting an anti-war demonstration this Saturday, October 27. This is a great opportunity for us make a final push to get Al Gore on the ballot in Illinois for the primary February 5th. The filing deadline is coming up on November 5th, so this may be our last major event to collect signatures, but attendance should be massive and if each one of us were to print out and make copies of the nominating petition, we could get the signatures we need to have Gore's name on our ballot!
Download the petition form here:

We need 3000 signatures for Gore's name to be on the Illinois ballot... and we are nowehere near that total.
Our message is a simple one for anybody who might not understand the connection: if Al Gore were in the office to which the country elected him, we would not be mired down in Iraq in the first place!
The kick-off rally is at 1:30 at Union Park, at Lake & Ashland.
The march steps off at 2:30
The gathering rally is at Federal Plaza at 4.
