The Palm Beach County Draft Al Gore Group is now 47 members strong. For every member who signed up we find that there are at least 5 others who don't like to sign up but support our efforts. Our third meet-up was very successful. We have volunteers attending Democratic Club meetings and other meetings to obtain petitions signatures, we have volunteers researching Florida's delegate selection process for 2008, we have volunteers researching partnering with bookstores and having Gore tables to help sell "The Assault on Reason" and promote Al Gore for President. We have shown "An Inconveniet Turth" to several hundred voters in Palm Beach County. We will not be meeting too often during the summer months. We hope to have some house parties for 07/07/07, Live Earth Day. And last but not least Palm Beach County Draft Al Gore is conducting a letter writing campaign for the next few weeks, urging Vice President Gore to run for President because the world needs him to be President of the U. S. A. . We have ordered 100 more buttons and we have a recognized presence throughout the county. When Al Gore announces we will be able to organize Palm Beach County, Florida in a New York minute.
