An awful lot! Since he left office, Al Gore:

• Single handedly changed the national debate about global warming with his smash hit documentary film, "An Inconvenient Truth"

• Wrote the companion book, also titled "An Inconvenient Truth", which reached #1 on the New York Times Best Seller List
• Co-founded the "Virgin Earth" scientific competition, which will award $25 million to the first person to create a commercially viable way of removing anthropogenic, atmospheric greenhouse gases
• Lectured extensively on the growing threat of Global Warming
• Gave a series of historic speeches about the dangerous direction America has been taking under the second Bush administration
• Is a senior advisor to Google
• Is a member of the board of directors of Apple Computers
• Is the cofounder and Chairman of the Board of Current, a youth oriented, in interactive cable network with much of its content created by viewers
• Is the cofounder and Chairman of Generation Investment Management, which invests in environmentally and socially responsible companies
• Created a new academic discipline called Famliy Centered Community Building
• Played comedy roles on the TV series "Futurama" and "Saturday Night Live"
• Has campaigned for Democrats at every level in the 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 elections

Al Gore has announced several future projects to the press:

• "The Assault On Reason", a highly anticipated new book on the state of American Politics. "The Assault On Reason" will be released on May 22, 2007

• "Live Earth", a charity concert for global warming education, which will bring together more than 150 of the world’s top musicians for 24-hours of music from 7 concerts across all 7 continents. "Live Earth" is scheduled for July 7, 2007
