asking Al Gore to run in 2008!
Archived version of the old AlGore.org Forum
Posted March 2nd, 2007 by Dylan
I don't know how long I will be able to keep the old forum live, but I do hope to keep a backup copy indefinitely, even if it isn't actually online. Anyhow, for old timers wanting to dig out an old post, they can visit the cryogenicly preserved message board here:
http://archive.algore.org/forum/
Obviously posting, replying, etc. has been disabled. I will continue to improve the new and far more powerful site until your remaining concerns are addressed if possible... Already you can do many things here that were utterly impossible on the old AlGore.org.

Be part of the Draft Gore '08 campaign!

I Was Afraid Of This Happpening
Is there still a backup copy of the archived site? It would be useful to locate the old site to help make sense of these times. I feel we are falling and should carefully examine if the past is any indication of what could become of US. I Was Afraid This Was Going To Happen!
The Vault
I couldn't tell you if there is a backup copy of the old forum or not. We haven't been able to access it online for at least the last couple of months. I hope that somewhere it still exists.
Opening The Vault
It may be for the best if it is gone, after all. Just like all of the records that could come back to haunt this administration, their predicessors or Friends With Benefits. It's all good.
'Dust In The Wind"
I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind
Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do, crumbles to the ground though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind.
Oh________________
Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away, all your money won't another minute buy
Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind
Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind
Dust in the wind, everything is dust in the wind (everything is dust in the wind)
I do to
I use to go the archive site a lot.
Ever Foreword, Dylan
Kudos on the new design again, Dylan. It's awesome to have the archives still around, too.
Kinda' cool... actually... like the runes of the ancients have been hermetically sealed.
Thank you so much, Dylan, and all... I can't say it enough. Visionary and impactful, Dylan... we're a very lucky community to have people your caliber.
And will there be a "Show
And will there be a "Show the last posts of this person" feature on this site?
I recently added that feature
To see recent posts (whether they're in calendars, blogs, the forum, comments someplace, etc.) just click on the user's name and chose the tab that says Track.
There are still many things on my to-do list, but it gets better every day.
