WindEnergy .... In answer to one of your questions

_____________________

I am fairly certain that Dylan, Janet, earthmother, Wayne in WA State, and all of the admins involved here DO read your posts. Also, they more than likely truly appreciate the validity of many of the statements and facts that you present to all of us in this forum.

Personally, I wish I could convince you that it is NOT the true Christians who are causing problems. It is those who have hijacked the idea of Christianity to promote their programs and philosophies that are based on greed, mind control, slavery, and paganism. I am a Christian, but am on board with you on most of what you say and profess and promote in here. The neocons are definitely not Christian in thought, ideology, or actions. Jesus would have been right here in this type of forum in this situation leading us through this mess we as a nation find ourselves in. He did not condone raping the environment, slavery in or out of marriage. He would not have condoned nor catered to the issues of today such as samesex marriage or homosexuality, but would have tried to teach them why those things are NOT right. I know He would rather save thier souls than He would want to hurt, maim, kill, or torture them.

I just want you to know that my opinion is that you are a very valid and important member of our group. I enjoy your posts and do pay close attention.

I am sure that many others here feel the same way.

AlGore.org used to be alot more active before

Medullan Marauder's picture

they changed over to the new format a few months ago. I too lament the lack of reparte here on the new site. I don't know if the format intimidated most of the old members or what, but the difference is remarkable.

The old spark is absent. People don't really care to bandy about ideas anymore, everyone either wants to praise or blame Al Gore for everything under the sun.
The admins who made the change claim that their are more members than ever but you wouldn't know it by the activity here.

sigh

The old format was much better indeed

No smileys. You can't post pics. You can't quote directly.
When you reply you can't see the whole thread. You can't delete your posts.
There's no archive of your posts.

And the whole thing is just not as user-friendly as the good ol' forum.

Second that

It's not even easy to browse the new forum to see what's going on. The old one indicated what topics were active at a glance. And there was a link to "new replies to your posts."

And I don't know what it looks like on your computer, but for me, text I type in the Comment: field when posting a topic or reply is about 1mm tall -- I am too old to be able to read it.

As you can see, my posting has gone from about 1/day to about 1/month.

If it gets Al Gore elected, I'm all for it. But from my own selfish personal perspective, it's a bust. Not worth the effort.

A sign...

I am waiting for Al to give a sign...

what sign?

I saw a horse race in a vision, closing my eyes to go to sleep - I've been sure ever since.

I hope he gets his sign, if a sign is what Al is waiting for.

(He was winning, by the way)

We're a-sigh'n...I think that ought to be sign for him enough!

What sign will he give?

I have no idea.

Someone said he'd run in August. I tend to think that would be wonderful. I think he already gave signs, but, we have to pay close attention. It's kind of like, how to play this hand. At this point, how can he fail?

* (later edit) Sign. hmph. I want an assignment. What can I do? Nobody answers. I just sit here. I'm going back to my farm.

p.s. there's something amusing to me about yabu bemoaning the lack of smileys on this forum format. But I completely agree.

In addition, I sometimes think, here, I'm lonely!! then I realize, all those 'guests'? If they are real, they're watching us. gee! somehow, that makes me feel ... like throwing pies, or something. There's got to be more to life. And campaigning. How to begin?

Gore/Gore 2008

I thought something else to say, on my way to bind tomatoes

My confidence not withstanding, I will be upset if he gets any fatter. I will take it as a sign. An unhappy one. While it can be an art form to interpret signs, I would take this at least as a sign that he has qualms.

If it becomes apparent to many of us here at draftgore.org that the man has qualms, I think the rapid response team should muster, and immediately plot to inject Mr. Gore with some kind of anti-body. No pun intended, jeez, sorry, heh! Seriously - some kind of go juice, something to fire his rage, get the turbines spinning, short of sabotage; something to make him nervous, should he let us down - something to put those qualms in perspective. What would you do? We should get in a huddle. I have no ideas, beyond thinking that I could throw a pie. But I don't want to. Are there any more positive signs, lately? He seems to be taking over the world, laying seige to the White House. There must be a more direct route - even a red carpet, or 'rug', as he humbly calls it. I think it will be a rout, should he run for that office.

Meanwhile, how is he looking? Svelter?

that's not my German accent, I really want to know if he's getting fit. Last sighting at a gym or on a dance floor was Los Angeles, for goodness sakes. Any other signs?

He must run.

We want more Gore!

Qualms

I have decided that if he doesn't run, it's allright.
