Refusal to accept another stolen election. Massive protests.

We must be prepared for the Republicans to steal another election. I did nothing as they installed candidates in '00, '02, '04 and '06 but I will no longer watch quietly as we slide towards permanent one party rule. We must pour into the streets by the millions and demand the resignation of the McCain regime. I will NOT accept a McCain "victory"!! What's happened in this country over the last 8 years is appalling and we must act now while we still have a chance to restore democracy. I am very angry but I know I'm not alone. What are we going to do about it? If we truly love democracy, I think it's time to take a stand and restore majority rule.
I hope I'm wrong but we must be ready to act. Who's with me?

"What's happened in this

"What's happened in this country over the last 8 years is appalling ..."

Very true.

You know it had to be a sobering moment for John McCain the other day when his crowd booed him for saying that Obama is a decent man. Strip away the Independents and the Reagan Republicans and that's what you have left. Between Palin and what appears to be his base... this campaign has to be a little depressing for McCain.

But I have to agree..."What's happened in this country over the last 8 years..." is appalling!
Culturally, I am very concerned. People see the things that Bush & Cheney & Rove & Hannity and the rest of them do, and they feel justified in their own malicious activities. If this kind of stuff continues... we are in for a very dark future.

I'm bringing 4 more people

I'm bringing 4 more people with me to vote this year. It may not sound like much, but if we could all get just 1 more person out there it could make a huge difference.

Having the better candidate is not enough. Too many people stay home because they think the better guy will win. We should know by now that it doesn't work that way.

Please... get out the vote!!!

it mustn't be close enough to steal

GOPstopper's picture

Nevermind the polls, this election will be close. If young people believe Obama is going to win, they will be less motivated to go out and vote for him. I have impressed upon my nieces that they needed to register (which they did), decide for themselves who to support (which they did) and then get out there and vote, even if it looks like it won't even be close in our state (which they will-- they know I will be checking on them).

It's an excellent idea to bring additional people to the polls. Get out the vote, carpool so that parking at the polling places is not a problem, and if the lines are long, nobody leaves until they've voted -- the ride stays parked until votes are cast.

The GOP machine is working extra hard to disenfranchise voters and otherwise make things difficult again for Democratic voters to vote. Everyone who thinks they are registered, make sure you really ARE registered! Then get out there and fight for your vote.
