Man, the speechwriters must've had a competition. Every speech I listened to seemed like the "best ever" ... only until the next one!
Obama brought tears to my eyes more than once.
My favorite speeches were Kucinich's, Kerry's, Gore's and of course, Obama's. Brian Schweitzer had an outstanding speech. Biden's was also excellent. But Kucinich's and Kerry's weren't carried by most media, and they're well worth taking the time to listen. Kucinich's delivery was so impassioned. I was watching the commentator-less feed on msnbc.com ... Kucinich had me standing up and shouting at my computer!
Rumor has it Kerry wrote his own speech. It was stellar. I just have to ask, where was that guy in 2004!?!?
Speaking of that, I have mixed feelings about Gore taking time in his speech to say how things would be different had he been elected in 2000. Well, Al, you WERE elected. And if you hadn't chosen that a$$ Lieberman, or if you'd FOUGHT a little harder for a real recount.... argh.... I'd rather dwell on the positives, and there are so many right now.

BTW Richardson, had the best line IMO, (which I may not have exactly right here, but it was like:
"McCain may wear $300 shoes, but WE will have to pay for his flip-flops."
