We knew by the end of October 2007 that Gore was not going to run for President in 2008. We are still supporting Al Gore by working for the issues he cares about and supporting our nominee like Al is supporting our nominee.
The Next President of the United States -- Barack Obama
Personally I think we're doing more to support Obama than Gore has. His excellent convention speech notwithstanding, Gore hasn't done a lot for Obama yet. Of course, if the Obama thing doesn't work out, yes, we'll still be saying "Gore for President" -- in 2012! But seeing how McCain has gone completely off the rails today, I can't imagine we'll be doing anything other than supporting Obama's re-election bid in 2012.
On the other hand, I was a little disappointed when Obama set the goal of eliminating the US's dependence on imported oil in 10 years. He could have and should have gone 100% for the Gore challenge and not for this small subset with the same timeline.
I am seriously wondering how long this now small forum will be available to us. I am happy to have this venue where I know a handful of people will read my posts. Where can we go to play when this shuts down? DailyKos, HuffPo? Those are like Washington, DC to our Wasila, AK. Maybe Crooks&Liars or TalkingPointsMemo? OurFuture.org looks promising.
Our maybe I have to start my own blog. Kudos to Black Cell for doing that. But one more blog in the blogosphere? It's like a teaspoon in the ocean. More futile than trying to have a voice on Kos.
Al Gore has a ton of things he's involved in and I don't see any reason there can't continue to be a place on the web for Gore supporters. But as far as where else we can find a home on the internet; I think we could be more involved in Black Cell's blog. The other forum I have found that I enjoy and learn from is the Randi Rhodes forum.
Yes, I think he should be
Yes, I think he should be President. I still don't know how he lost against Bush, what exactly the Americans thought on the election at the time.
What time is it?

Any suggestions?
