OK, it's time to get specific; Like Al Gore did on March 21st with ten proposals for Congress to act on.
Here in the discuss AlGore.org area of the forum might be a place to discuss suggestions on improving the website.
One thing I would like to see is a "Show the last posts of this person" feature included. Right now we can track our own blog posts but not our forum posts. I think this was a very useful feature of the earlier version. Members could track the posts of other members they were having discussions with. This may be even more important with a multi-blog format. "Show the last posts" didn't just show the last ten posts. It showed ALL the posts ever submitted by each AlGore.org member in chronological order. Please could you consider this?

Apparantly, the 'chat' area is not working. And that little quiz game hasn't been around for quite awhile.

Still, the chat room would nice, even though it might not get that much traffic.
Are updates coming soon?
I wanted to ask about changes to the website we have heard might be coming. Any idea on how soon more formatting options will be enabled?
Can I suggest the "contact" tab be enabled for all users, or at least all users who do not decline to allow other members to try and contact them? Another useful addition might be something like "view replies to my posts".
"Report Post" feature, help guide, picture with name
A feature where we can report a post or blog that we find objectionable.
A general help guide for features like points, etc.
A member's picture appear next to their name on posts.

making things easier to track
I want to seriously ask what people think of installing a "show all posts" of members feature. I am having a difficult time finding my own posts from a couple days ago. If someone contacts me outside of my group blog, like SolarSuzi did a couple days ago asking about donating to AlGore.org, I can't seem to find it...

Taking an ALgore.org coffee break. If you click on the persons name, or your own and then click on the "track" icon it will list all the posts of that person, at least it appears to work that way for me--have a good day.

Hey!. Apparently the "track" feature is doing what I asked for already. When I had used it a couple weeks ago it seemed to actually 'track' browsing a topic, even if I never made a comment there.Cool.
Now, I can 'track' you easy enough, because I can find your name on 'My Buddylist'. How about a feature that lets us find members who aren't on our buddylist? A "Search For" or "Find" feature perhaps. A 'Search For' might be used to find other members, gore groups, particular issues of interest, and so on. I imagine something like this may be on the way. When I click on my name and click on track, I can see most of my posts, except for the "Let's not forget about Tipper!" blog. When I finally do find it, there is a link to 'Health Care'. Is there an easy way to go to 'Education', 'The Iraq War', 'The Economy' or 'Health Care' and so on directly?
