I'm new to politics. What's the difference between the 2 parties and why can we not just vote for who is the best for our nation
I have looked at all the candidates and their deeds in office. They have ALL flip flopped on the issues, with exception to 1. Thay have all been evasive in their answers on future plans and current states of the economy, with exception to 1. All have changed positions on issues shortly after a corporate contribution, with exception to 1. All of the campaigns being run are being run with 75%+ corporate donations, with exception of 1. All the candidates have voted to selectively ignore amendments of the Constitution, with exception to 1. Only 1 candidate is supporting his campaign with donations from citizens and us soldiers serving overseas. He is the worst fear of corporate America and corrupt government. He is however republican. I don't know liberal, conservative, blah blah. I know that my descendents could end up with a microchip in their head in a government dictated society and that is not what the founding Fathers wanted or died for. If Mr. Gore will not run, I would plead that he endorse the 1 man whom has stood by his convictions as a politician!

Be part of the Draft Gore '08 campaign!

You should always vote your mind not your party.
Look I am thinking about joining the Democratic National Party. The Republicans have made too many mistakes and embarassed themselves in public restrooms far too much. Not that there is anything wrong being gay, I used to think I was bi till I realized that so many people had accused me of it that it broke my way of thinking. NO I've never had sex with a man and will not. Yes I am a very honest and forthright person BUT if I don't want to or can't answer the question I'll either plead the 5th or just say I can or I don't know how to answer that question.
Anyways banding together as a party is an AWESOME idea to put someone in office. However, if you don't agree that your party's leader will do the best job I encourage you to vote your mind. I think if Gore does jump in this race at the last minute and get some votes in the DNC that he IS the best candidate. The only reason I root Hillary on at all is I would love to see a woman or African-American in office because they really should be represented. But while I might smile for Hillary I'll be blessing Gore.
Encourage him to run. He has our best interests in mind. He's allready been Vice-President and while being President will be a big feather in his cap I feel that William "Bill" Clinton treated him as close to an equal as he could. He's allready felt the power of the Presidency and he wouldn't come back unless he had something in mind for our citizens.
God bless.
