asking Al Gore to run in 2008!
HILLARY ????
Posted June 18th, 2007 by CRYSTAL
Hello Fellow AL GORE Admirers ! Since Al doesn't seem to be running again in 2008 (Although he already Won in 2000) I was considering voting for Hillary Clinton. That is, Until the other night when I saw her on CNN remarking that she was in agreement with Bush's "NEW" Immigration Bill. I was Shocked ! WHO in their RIGHT mind can go along with ANYTHING that BUSH "Does" or "Says". IF BUSH is "FOR" it ... There "HAS" to be something Morally or Ethically Wrong with it.

Be part of the Draft Gore '08 campaign!

Nonsense. That bill is quite good. The wingers
hate it. Just because Bush supports it doesn't mean it's bad. After all he supported the military action in Kosovo, too. When some wingers trashed Clinton for it.
The problem with Hillary is this list:
1. Iraq
2. Opportunism
3. Always a follower. Not an original mind.
Follow the money
Every candidate responds to the desires of the interest group that supports their candidacy, and I mean$$$$. Bush, of course, is part of the wealthy elite of this country. So are the Clinton's, I have to tell you, but to a lesser extent. Did you ever wonder why the middle class pays roughly 85% of all the taxes and yet owns collectively 20% of the wealth in this country. The interests that own 80% of the wealth play both sides, Dems and Reps. While, Reps are more responsive the Dems are responsive too. After all, they have to get elected and without radical campaign finance reform they need the approval of sufficient wealthy interests to stay in the game.
The "New" immigration bill is a way to benefit wealth and mollify those citizens up in arms about the sad state of the economy for the middle class (the common joe) who buy into the Xenophic instincts of many.
Check out my book to learn more about what the problem is, and WHAT THE SOLUTION IS. If you are of like mind, spread the word. To Gore, Kucinch or any other principled candidate who will listen. www.TaxBackAmerica.info.

The Middle Class Advocate
If you were living in Romania and talked about
"the sad state of the economy for the middle class " you would have some credibility.
However, when you are talking about the US such claims are ridiculous.
Those in the American middle class are extremely wasteful and consume way more of the Earth's resources than they deserve. The fact that the top 1% is even worse doesn't make the middle class innocent.
That bill would not only benefit the top 1% or the top 10% as the national economy is dependent on immigrant workers and you benefit from that every single day when you consume food, for example.
Once you can come up with a detailed formula as to how the US economy could function without those immigrants at the current level I will start taking you seriously. Until that happens you are just another whining hypocrite who enjoys the products of corporations and farms which employ immigrants while you trash those very same entities.
