Fundraising Event Ideas

I would be delighted to host a fundraising event for Mr. Gore, either on a small scale in my apartment in the West Village or on a larger scale in a restaurant. Would it be possible to have Mr. Gore attend? I am sure the turn out would be fabulous and tons of money raised if he showed up for a bit...any thoughts?
