I have decided to put my faith in the team collecting money here and donate: $25.00
Who here can't afford $25. ?
I see on the front page that there are 2354 Volunteers registered here. If we all are willing to "risk" $25. in hopes of helping Al Gore be President in 2008 that's $58,850. (Lots of bumper stickers, T-Shirts, etc.).
It's a start....

What if he doesn't run? Then we press on.
Run, Al, Run Rally and Concert in Des Moines Iowa
Would you consider donating some of those proceeds to the Run, Al, Run Rally and Concert being organized by our very own member in Iowa, Peter Ryder, to help underwrite this event? It will be held at the Hoyt Sherman Center in Des Moines. (google it for a fantastic virtual tour.)
Some of us have been working non-stop to make the rally a huge success, including donating our cash, but they need more to pull it off. I don't want to steal any thunder from the official media release, but I can say that we've managed to get Red State Update (Jackie Browles and Dunlap) to agree to attend, in addition to three bands and a few other guests. We've contacted other people we would like to have as guests, and so far we're receiving encouraging news. We're planning to simulcast it over the web.
We need everyone's help to make this one event that Al Gore cannot miss. If you can spare a 5 or a 10 or a 20, please send them to:

(This reminds me that I have an Impeach Bush t-shirt waiting for me, I think, at my brother's address...thanks for reminding me, I need to get that!)
Gore/Bradley 2008
T-Shirt, Bumper Sticker, Hat, Button Package: $50.
How about if there is a package including: T-Shirt or Hat, Bumper Sticker, and a Button for $50.?
That way, people get "souvenirs" for their $$$ and every time we wear the gear we're promoting AG.
For Now -- If you want AG to run for President in 2008 -- put your money where your heart is and just do what I did, get out your credit card and donate $25.
That way, we'll have base funding to move forward.
