Today , December 19th,2007, I've taken stock of were the current Democratic Candidates for the Presidential Nomination stand with their Campaigns.
Hillary: Dropping in Iowa and N.H.; Bill making silly, unnecessary remarks about a
joint world tour with old man Bush (what was that all about ? ).
Obama: Catching up to Hill in Iowa,N. H. and S.C.
His inexperience in Domestic and Foreign Affairs is still there with him. It cannot be
papered over; the Repugs will pounce on that; you can depend on it.

Today, I've started to fax Al's office in Nashville 1-615/327-1323,the following; I intend to keep faxing it until we get either a YES or a NO from him. Some of you might want to consider doing something similar; either fax or e-mail.

I would like to share an item with my fellow Goristas, and I would like some of your opinions on it.
Today, I received a fund raising letter from the DNC with Al's name at the top and his signature at the bottom of the 4th. page (that long !).
I'll quote you some of what he says ' As someone who has gone up against the Republican machine, I know what our White House candidate will face from the moment he or she wins the DECISIVE (emphasis added) primary'.
The questions I pose are these:
1. Has anyone else received a similar letter from the DNC as the one I just described ?

Al, by now you probably have decided if you'll be running or not, and will probably be making it known sometime later this month. Here goes what I have to say.
Al, You, I, and a lot of other people know that we won't be able to move on the Global Warming issue until the Moslem Wars ( 2 soon to be 3 ) are resolved; for one thing, there's no money to do anything about it. The ' Midland Moron' has seen to that.
The Country is in a mess; Health Care, Social Security and a host of other issues are on hold waiting to be taken care of; but there's no money. These wars are bleeding us white.

Here's something I learned today that I would like to share with my fellow Goristas.
Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberts was the one who prepared and pushed the case of Bush vs. Gore et al back in 2000.
De facto quid pro quo?; NAAAHHHHHH.
My blood pressure 'surged' well above 200.

Anybody in L.A. wants to meet me down at the Shrine Auditorium this afternoon about 3:30 - Al and the media will be there.
Bring a poster, wear a Gore T-Shirt, anything that calls attention to our cause.

Just finished reading a fine article by Evgenia Peretz ( Martin's daughter - he's a very old friend of Al ) in this month's Vanity Fair ( vanityfair.com ) on how the media went after Al in 2000.
It'll make you angry, but it's definitely worth a read.
