gore as vice president again

why not ?
al could be vice president again with hillary .
i think with 8 years with hillary and another eight on his own we can get things right .
and we could almost guarantee victory in election this year!

You have got to be joking, right?

Apparently you are not familiar with the rift between the Gores and Hillary. Let me bring you up to speed. If Hillary and Gore were going to team up wouldn't it make more sense for them to do that early on to solidify the Presidency? No, the more likely scenario is that Hillary if selected as the Democratic Presidential Nominee would not select Al Gore. And Gore was troubled by Bill and Hillary's less than lukewarm push for Gore in 2000 to be President. There was alot of addtional baggage that the Gores and Clintons hold for each other.

I know it is difficult for all of us to get used to the idea that Al Gore may not be running for President in 2008 as his political savvy would have dictated you need to get in the race early to start raising the necessary funding for a good, serious candidacy.

Now, granted these are my opinions based on some of the writings that have been going on the Clintons and Gores. The knock down drag out race to the Presidency in 2008 will continue and the Democratic and Republican nominees selected in mid 2008. I personally do not want to see another Republican in the White House come January 2009, but we Democrats are going to have to run together to get our nominee elected in November 2008. We can do more with our numbers grouped together, then our side (Democrats) dividing and diluting our vote by not voting collectively.

Presently, the way it looks for the Democrats is the next President of the United States will be either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. The rest of the Democratic field is trailing and the polls indicate consistently on those results.

We have to be thinking more rationally when we talk about the Presidency because we have to elect from those that are running and it would appear that our choice is going to be limited to Hillary and Obama, unless those two would team up for President and Vice-President. That may not be in the cards as America has not grown enough to try and elect a Black man for President. That is always under the surface, though how sad that is.
