Al Gore in the news

Mr. Gore's news was all the buzz the past couple of days on the
"internets". :)

It's is actually a great video and was quite inspiring. I'm sorry I
didn't relay this information when I found out about it a couple days
ago. Mr. Gore released 2 videos at the same time. One on Womens
Decision, I assume in relation to the anniversary of Roe V Wade, and then
the Gay rights video. The 2nd, the Gay rights, was just that much more
passionate and detailed, but also, to hear a man of Mr. Gore's stature
advocating marriage for all was just so awesome. I've always believed

Will the grassroots shift consciousness and create the tippiing point?

What will it take to look in to the future and act before it's too late?

Bono writes:

“Al Gore is the kind of leader these times require. Not as President — God and the Electoral College have given him a different job. As it happens, Al is at work repositioning his country from the inside out as a leader in clean energy; and along the way restoring faith in the U.S. as a moral powerhouse that can lead a great, global spiritual revival as the temperature rises.”

Bali: In a speech likely to go down in history as an oratorical milestone in the fight against global warming, Al Gore, former US vice-president and co-winner of this year's Nobel Peace Prize, electrified the December 3-14 UN conference on climate change on its penultimate evening on Thursday.

Nobel Ceremony and Acceptance Speeches

In case you didn't get to see the Nobel Award Ceremony, here is the hour long presentation.

The media did not report the standing ovation Mr. Gore received. And of course, it goes without saying, the precious words he spoke, that many may have already read from his emailed transcript, but surely not reported.

Al Gore: No Official Role (religion) For Government

Indeed Mr. Gore is a visionary.

How did he know some folks would be trying to insert Religion in to our Government and the Presidential Election?

Uploaded a few days ago, Mr. Gore adresses this issue.

Gorefully News Packed Weekend

The news this weekend started pouring in. I wonder how Mr. Gore is able to keep this pace doing all the traveling and work, when I don't even seem to have time to read and post it all.

As Mr. Gore was headed over to Great Britian this past week to partake in several talks, forums, conferences and meetings, still articles are being written calling for the our best hope to run, as Gailwinds also posted,

And Then, There's Al Gore

Mr. Gore becoming more politically active as new PM's seek counsel to him on Climate Change and next stepsteps

As Robert DeNiro said when giving Mr. Gore his International Emmy's Founder Award last week, if you have a Leader speaking out on Gl.obal Warming," look closely, it is likely Mr. Gore is right behind [them]"

As Australias new Prime Minister starts plans on his new position, he speaks with Al Gore on his next steps.

"SYDNEY, Australia: Incoming Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said Tuesday he had a telephone chat with former U.S. Vice President Al Gore about global warming, underscoring Australia's new focus on protecting the environment."

Awaiting Al Gore at the White House.

As everyone's eyes and ears are poised to await Mr. Gore's arrival at the White House today, the media coverage of the upcoming meeting between Al Gore and "W" Bush has started.

In a surprising piece of news coverage where it is so rare to hear the Corporate Media acknowledge the fact that Al Gore won the popular vote and that after "a tough battle ending on the intervention of the Supreme Court, Al Gore concede", this is a pretty good piece.

" the current crop of Democratic candidates, I just don't trust any of them"

this post, written by Chris Bowers, pretty much says it for the majority us. And something is going to have to change to inspire us to turn out to even vote in the General Election. And you can be sure their polls are showing this, especially with the campaign season having been going on for a year now and so many folks still undecided.

Building A Sustainable Future (Al Gore)

Al Gore: "And, by the way, those of you in the business community, I think there's a task in the business community in policing the irresponsible voices in the business community, like Exxon Mobil for example, spending all this money to intentionally confuse the public's understanding of what this is all about."

"I need advice on how to more effectively change people's minds about the reality of this (climate crisis) situation."
