Why would we want to post articles in Wikipedia? Anyone can edit it and professors don't accept it as a realiable resorce anymore.

Because Al Gore like this popular culture. You can reach a lot of people if you make a film, you can reach a some people if you write a book, you can reach a few people if you write articles on the web. That's all. We need fo everyone. Al Gore is now in a very good position. He can win, we wait the next film (recount - 2000 Bush vs Al Gore) , but he have to do and his followers as much as they can. Wikipedia is just a media too. Al Gore voice is echo again in wikipedia , thats all... And his voice stronger and stronger from day to day.

Al Gore has a website. Look it up. There are many other sites dedicated to Gore. Why would some fool post on Wikipedia when anyone can edit it to say what they want and damn near every professor at every major University refuses to accept it as a source.
Come on,,, an encyclopedia anyone can put what they want in it, true or not, is not an encyclopedia. It is a well done blog. It maybe a good starting point but it is not real research and if you think it is you should go back to school.
He can win but he needs real, reliable sources, not Wikipedia and I think he knows this.
Have enough trust in the man to know what he's doing. If he thought Wikipedia was the answer don't you think he would be there by now. Don't forget he is a Professor at a Major University in Tennessee and he also thinks very little of Wikipedia and refuses to allow it as a source.

I've done extensive research on Wikipedia,...cross checking it with sources like the U.N., the CIA fact book (highly recommended for world data), University sites, etc. and found it to be highly accurate and current. Maybe Universities don't like it because it's too easy to find what you're looking for. A good technique is to find what you want in Wiki and
then copy key info, terms, or references into google and do another search. When you find
good credible confirmation, then you'll feel better. Yes a wikipedia entry needs oversight..
One of its big benefits is it seems to show up high in the list of google search results....
answers.com and other wiki references. You can get sabatage out .
Although maybe the primary energy should be towards getting algore.org visible amoung democrats, and keeping garbage out of this site.
