Be part of the Draft Gore '08 campaign!

The admiration
is almost overwhelming. I am just waiting to see the ovation when he says he's running!!! It will be heard around the globe!
How many more....
How many more standing ovations like this does Al Gore need to experience before it becomes obvious to him that there is the public sentiment for a run for the Presidency from him. He is the one man that bring about real change, real profound change, in America and the world. Its so frustrating to know that something great could happen, and be left tantalisingly close to it, and to then feel that maybe it isn't going to.
And how many more things can Gore win, Ocars, Emmys Quills, Nobel Peace Prizes. Of course we all know what we would like him to win, and people really so feel how different, how better things might be now, if he had won the Presidency (rather than the Preesidential election... who'd have guessed there was a difference??) in 2000.
I do get quite despondent that maybe Gore is happy to sit out the 2008 election, but on the other hand he does look and seem so much more happy doing what he is doing now. The frustration lingers though, that the time is soooooooo perfect for Al to run, the historical fit and the narrative of the last few years leading into what needs to be done over a range of issues, and the knowledge that this is probably Gore's last best chance of fulfilling what I believe his destiny is, to be the next great President of the United States.
