there seems to be a problem

From the very start, we are already facing a huge problem in the government, in some corrupt politicians and in the roles that they implemented which is not useful to the people. Instead of wasting a lot of their time in this, why don’t they focus on addressing the problem in the country such as those who live and suffer from extreme form of poverty as well as the growing number of crime? What we need is an action and not just a plan alone. Our government will not have any improvement and changes if we will allow corrupt politicians to be with their position. This is just like a car dealing with damage caused by raccoon. Well, Raccoons are not covered in the owner's manual. If one of the little buggers gets into the wires, there will be damage, and that isn't a cheap auto repair. Installment loans also will be needed if one of the creatures manages to bite you or your loved ones. The doctor's bill won't be pleasant, and rabies is a painful treatment, consisting of some decidedly unpleasant shots over the course of a month or two. Short term loans to help keep the wayward raccoon population out of your yard are worth it. But in government, it seems that you have to get a big amount of payday loans in order to repair the damage done by this corrupt government officials.

This sort of thing has happend for both of jr's presidencies. The American people did not stand up as a whole and say "recount" either time. What makes the republicans think that they can't do this again? What safeguards are in place and who is running things? Who is checking on them, and for that matter, who is checking on the checkers? I for one would like to know.

Also, I can see that the people on this site are getting fired up. What is being done to fire up others?....the Democrats, American Independents, Green Party, and others?

Back in the early Reagan Years and around the time of the Iran/Contra, a young man dissapeared who had created a legal filing software system. After his strange dissapearence, the legal software system dissapeared and all traces along with it. It was said that the filing system was siezed by the CIA as for unrevealed uses. One of the rumors suggested that the CIA would use the system to fix elections in third world countries.

I saw the Documentary on how Republican Operatives were given access to the Florida Voting registar office of Kathleen Harrison. They used a list of Felons from all over the United States, only using first and last names, ( no middle names, no birthdates, no Social Security Numbers, no drivers liscense, etc.) and they used the list as a filter to run through the Democratic Registered Voters. One black minister went to vote and was turned away with the excuse that he was a felon and therefore unable to vote. It turns out that his name was the same first and last name of a felon in Texas who had a different middle name and was in his twenties, the minister was in his fifties and had a different middle name, Social Security Number, etc. I also heard eyewitness accounts of Blacks, Puerto Ricans, and other poor who were stopped at polling places and intimidated by big, tall, and hostile men who questioned them and threatened them.

Then when the recounting began, Republican aids of Senators & Representatives, their Secretaries, Republican Interns, and typists flew to Miami/Dade where the counting was ongoing and created a scene in front of the Media who gave everyone the impression that they were residents of Florida and they were protesting the ligitimacy of voters who they claimed were illegal aliens and therefore not allowed to vote.

Yet after they took power they allowed masses of peoples to cross into the U.S.A. illegally and did nothing to stop it.

In the Ohio matter; it began with the election of a Senator who beat a powerful Senator in South Dakota after they installed video voting machines. One of the technicians gave this account on TV. He said " that if one were to touch the screen in a certain way with one hand in one corner and the other in another corner that certain finger placements on the touch screen would change the totals in the computer to the Republican candidates.

The same stories from Florida rose again in Ohio, but the biggest story was that when they tried to vote for Kerry...Bush's name would show on the screen. They kept trying to have Kerry's name register on the screen, but no matter what they did, Bush's name would always show up.

Computers and Touch Screens do not have the Technology to be 100% infallible and accurate. They can be manipulated by 12 yr olds. Contrary to what people think, computers are stupid, and they can be fixed very easily.

This Congress MUST address these problems and change the voting system so it is flawless! After all, our whole society is based upon, one man/one vote concept.
