Ex-Vice President Al Gore's chances of winning the peace ...

(10-10) 18:28 PDT San Francisco --

He has been honored with an Emmy and an Oscar as an innovator and environmental leader, but supporters of former Vice President Al Gore say he deserves still more - the White House.

Hundreds of loyal "Draft Gore" activists in California and around the nation hope Gore hits a trifecta of public recognition on Friday when the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize is announced. The award of a Nobel Prize could prompt the 2000 Democratic presidential candidate to change his mind and launch a 2008 presidential run, they believe.

For the sake of this country, run...

Mr. Gore, it is very difficult for me to say this, since I think your record on the environment is completely overblown. Frankly I think your record reflects the interests of your corporate handlers rather than the public. However, when it looks like Hillary Clinton is our only other alternative, it truly scares me. Don't we know she is just a globalist, anti-union, deregulation corporate pundit? I beg you to put aside your pride (get over the 01' "loss") and run for the sake of our country. Our ship is sinking and we cannot afford more pirates like another Clinton. Please do your duty. You must know you have a virtual guarantee of victory...You were already elected once...

Get Him On The Ballot!!!

If there has ever been a time in the history of our great nation for the citizens to wake up, smell the coffee, concentrate on doing the right thing.....NOW IS THAT TIME.

We are on the verge of a political disaster if the current Democratic candidates remain as they are. I am by choice a DIE HARD Republican. I am not going to be able to vote for a member of my party as none of the current candidates are worthy of the office, in my opinion. I may not agree with all of Al Gore's passion projects, I may not align with him on many political issues...BUT...I do trust him. I have seen what he is capable of and I feel he is the man to be our next President.

I could spew venom and bile all day long about the state of our nation at present. That is only going to keep us all focused on complaining and not on FORCING a change in our nation. The bottom line in all of this...I am scared to death at the prospect of Mrs. Clinton running for the office. If she were to get the nomination, I would curl up and die. I would be so ashamed at what would come in the following years of the office.

Sign me up...I want to help this man get into the White House.
What can I do for my country????

Respectfully,

Jason R. Smith
