The visit to Taiwan had been postponed to next year, she added. Tien said the reason for the cancelation was that Gore was considering a presidential bid." Take this with a big fat grain of salt. Gore's schedule was obviously not cleared for six months.

I get that weird feeling that the posting of Gore's schedule is a perfect scenario for the right wing to target him for assassination. Hey, I've been a witness to the Kennedy kill in the "60s and still can't shut the vision out of my life.

I hear you! However, as one of my friends likes to say, "it is what it is". Look at it this way, the person or people who have the most to gain by assassinating our Mr. Gore, already know his schedule, with or without us, so what's the difference? By posting it, people can make plans to support him, if he's in their area, SO, it's a good thing! (Lord help me, I sound like Martha Stewart).
