Sick of Dubya

This is my first time blogging here, so be gentle.
Being a native Texan, I didn't want Dubya the first or second time around. He stinks: as a human, a man,
a governor, and now as President. He and the GOP have worked wonders in destroying every branch of government and sabotaging the Constitution-warrantless wiretaps, freedom to assemble, freedom of speech. How can George and Barbara sit by and watch their son screw up the country and hear him
called the first dictator of America? It begs the question: where did they go so horribly wrong to produce such a dangerous moron?
I was absolutely appalled at SCOTUS' ruling on stopping the recount. It made me sorry I was an American for the first time ever. I admire Al Gore to this day for being so gracious when I know he must still seethe at the thought.
I'm registered Independent, and have been known to vote Republican. But last time it was AL Gore.
I still think he's far and above better suited than ANY of the total array of candidates for either party.
I would like to see these issues addressed: troop withdrawal; stop screwing up the new Iraqi government with pressure to get control of their oil; repeal of Dubya's official signings and Acts; reintroduce the selective service to finally give the soldiers the troop rotation that has been denied them.
A few more, but I'm too tired to put all my complaints about Bush and Co. in one posting.
A vote for Al Gore is a vote for government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
