Of course the Republicans

Of course the Republicans want Hillary as the candidate. She's the one they feel they can beat. They know it mobilizes their base and all the other anti-Hillary folks around the country.

In fact, it's their only chance to keep the White House.

I personally would like to see a Gore/Obama ticket. These are two men for whom I have high respect. I think a ticket like this would have such high appeal across this country.

If Vice President Gore chooses not to run, I would hope he would endorse Senator Obama.

Both men would work to promote sound environmental policies.


Gingrich on Presidential race

On the current field of GOP candidates, Mr. Gingrich said he found them all to be "hardworking, smart people." He said he would hold off on endorsing any particular candidate until after the Republican National Convention next summer in Minneapolis.

Newt Gingrich?

Newt Gingrich also said the reason he isn't running for president is because of the McCain-Feingold campaign finance amendment that would require he resign from his position at American Solutions. I'm sure being involved in that organization I have never even heard of before today is more important to Newt than winning the presidency. I don't believe a word that man says. Don't you see all the Pugs baiting the trap because they would love to run against Hillary Clinton?
